Learn how to produce perfectly smooth, glossy microfoam milk for your coffee, then improve your pouring with plenty of hands-on practice and coaching.

We'll start with perfecting our milk steaming to consistently achieve microfoam milk, ideal for latte art. Next we break down the component techniques of free pouring and look at how the 3 key free pour patterns are made – heart, tulip and rosetta.

As we go, we'll identify the small but critical steps that make for excellent latte art, taking away techniques to help you practise your new skills. This class is a great complement to our Home Barista or SCA Barista Skills Foundation courses.

Arriving on the day of the course
Please arrive to our cafe a little bit before your course starts. Once you're here, just let the baristas know you're attending a course, and they'll seat you and offer you a cup of coffee on us.

Weekend courses: If your course is taking place on the weekend, please arrive at 10:00am earliest. The cafe opens at this time, and we'll have coffee ready for our students.
